"I can't get pregnant right now," I told him, "so we have nothing to worry about. Thank goodness Andrew was still apprehensive about kids -- we were starting to seriously talk about trying to have kids, but we hadn't gotten to the point of removing it just yet, so we're fine."
He breathed a sigh of relief, and we fell into a half-conscious, mostly-vapid conversation about what we would do the next day and the day after that. Most of that conversation was a blur -- we were so spent that we quickly fell asleep entwined -- but I do remember one thing that we agreed we had to do: have LOTS more sex. Lots. That, and somehow learn some form of martial arts or combat skills. But mostly sex.
