And honestly, Leif never would have joined anyone's band were he not so shy. He would have been starting his own. That was part of why he loved Lynney so much. She saw everything within him in terms of his musicianship and they worked on their craft together. But, what was more, Lynne was his. He didn't have to fight with anyone for her. She wanted to belong to him. And that Left Leif feeling pretty damn special, unlike he sometimes felt in the Dutchies, a hired hand, they way Matthew would sometimes try to take control of everything, even though, he knew shit about writing, arranging or even what chords sounded good together. Leif loved him like a brother, but, he was starting to feel stifled creatively in the Dutchies. Lynne had opened his eyes to just how much music was out there, and she literally listened to everything.

Any solo numbers...he wanted to save that shit. He had a plan. He really wanted to record some duets with Lynne if she was game for it. She also was wonderful arranger and songwriter and he wanted to compose tunes with her. He was just too shy to mention it right now to Lynne, and trying to figure out how to integrate this project, these love songs he wanted to do with Lynne with his own band's work, and Lynne's stuff with her own "boys". Sometimes he wished that he'd met Lynne first, he'd really rather work with her band sometimes, helping Lynne's creativity!

But anyway, Lynne was quite the chanteuse, what if she didn't want to be part of a duo. He kept his thoughts quiet for now, but he didn't want to step into the limelight of Dutchies right now, he'd rather see about creating something with Lynne for the future, partners in everything, the bedroom, in life, and in music.

Leif started to change the subject when he heard a loud, angry scream from Lynne.

***

Lynne was having fun, dancing along, when she felt a penetrating sting.

It didn't take her long to figure out she'd been stung, but it hurt, and she was screaming, cussing, and made a beeline for Leif, who wore a startled expression with his big blue eyes. Everyone on the floor stopped dancing, and Lyle turned off the record.

As soon as she ran towards Leif, he got up from the table, and scooped her up protectively into his arms. Immediately he wanted to know what the matter was, and he was there to provide her support.

The safety she felt in his arms, all she could do was hide in his neck and murmur that she'd been stung by a "fucking bee,". The way he held her, let Lynne know, that even though only a few hours had passed since the wedding, they were a family now. He was her rock, and he couldn't give a shit about the ceremony, if she was uncomfortable, he was going to see to her right away. She'd never been so loved, and doted on before.

"I've got you now sweetness, Dr. Leif has you," he murmured protectively.

He wouldn't even let her walk, kicked the sliding class door open after jiggling it before standing her on her feet in the kitchen.

By then, Janelle and his mother had made their way into the kitchen, as Leif hurried into the bathroom.

"Lynne what happened?" asked Janelle.

"I got stung out there, by something," said Lynne.

"Was probably a wasp," said Leif, returning from the nearby bathroom with a pair of tweezers.

Lynne was hurt by the wasp sting, and she squirmed, but she felt so safe when he reappeared in the room.

"Sit in my lap," he murmured protectively.

Lynne loved how he took charge of the situation with firm authority that was also tender. She knew he would remove the stinger, but she still felt nervous, she knew from dealing with a bee-sting before, that removing the stinger hurt. But, unlike any experience she had before, she knew it was okay to let her fears show. And her fears wouldn't be minimized. He would understand that her fears were real and do his best to soothe them. This might be a wasp sting, but Lynne felt like Leif was setting a precedent for the type of love they would show each other not only as a husband and wife team, but as a family.

If she was scared, she could let him know and he wouldn't make fun of her. She squirmed on his knee, because of both the pain and her fear.

"I'm scared," she whispered softly.

And he, just as patient as ever, not caring if his mother and Janelle were in the room murmured-

"You don't need to be scared of nothing anymore, from this day forward. Your husband will always protect you. Now be a good girl and rest your head on the kitchen table, let your husband see about fixing it," said Leif patting her rear affectionately.

Lynne bent over, dreading the sensation she knew would occur of the stinger being ripped out even as the stinger was stinging her and making her neck swell.

"It's okay darling...it's okay...my big brave wifey...so proud of my sweetness," murmured Leif softly against her neck.

He covered her neck with moist kisses which were very pleasurable. So pleasurable that it took Lynne a few seconds to realize he'd pulled out the stinger which burned.

"Ouch!" cried Lynne once she realized that he had indeed pulled out the stinger.

Leif chuckled delightedly.

"You little fake, it's over now, Linda, get me an ice-cube, Janelle, I could use a Band-Aid," said Leif.

His chuckle made her feel warm inside. She turned around in his lap and looked at him, blushing. He lightly touched her nose with the tip of his finger.

"I know it hurts, but you were brave, and damn beautiful," he murmured dotingly.

"You're so patient Leify. Good under pressure too, as soon as I screamed and started running to you, you leapt into the crowd," said Lynne grinning at him, chin dimple in full effect.

"Oh brother, I'm going to be so sick around you two...Leif the hero...he didn't give you mouth to mouth, he tended to a wasp-sting for crying out loud," said Janelle.

Linda laughed and laughed.

The women bustled about to get the ice-cube and band-aid that Leif had asked for.

After they left to get the band-aid, Lynne looked into Leif's gentle blue eyes.

"I feel like an Ass," Lynne whispered.

"Well you do have a cute, shapely little ass I can't wait to sink my teeth in, and bite it, all during this honeymoon," he purred huskily pinching her bottom.

He was always groping after her like a teenage boy who couldn't control his emotions. She loved it. It made her feel beautiful, even when she pretended not to like his attention. It flattered her, and took her mind off her embarrassment about the bee-sting.

"Leify, stop it! They are right around the corner," she giggled like a schoolgirl.

"So, if I ever get to grope your ass, it's today, it's the wedding day. Shouldn't let it look so juicy and ripe in your little white gown if you don't want it to get squeezed," he added, pinching her ass harder this time.

Lynne giggled, his naughty teasing delighted her. Then she calmed and got quiet and started again.

"Leify. I'm serious. I yelled out and ran around screaming. Look through the window, everyone is laughing at me. I can't go back out there," said Lynne looking at the table straight in front of her.

She hated when she did something crazy and flighty like that and everyone noticed. She felt shy and ashamed, especially on her wedding day. All the focus was on her.

"Nobody, Oh hell baby, nobody better be laughing at you out there. Seems like they are concerned not laughing. But if anyone laughs at you, they'll have one angry groom to look at! All those vows on the beach, they meant nothing to you did they? I told you that I was going to be that knight and shining armor. I will punch somebody, wedding or not if they are making fun of you. I can make fun of you. I love the new dance step you pioneered the neck squeeze forward movement shuffle. But I'm your husband, and you know I mean no harm, when I tease you. Hope you make a scream like that for me baby, when I'm inside you," he panted playfully in her ear.

She chuckled. She loved when he teased her, it delighted her, because she knew he was being playful because he loved her.

"Not as hard as you are going to scream when I tickle your pits," she threatened lunging for his arms before he squeezed them down tight.

"Hell no, you aren't gonna get me, I wasn't born yesterday. But seriously, nobody's gonna hurt you anymore. Because you're mine now. I told you before, I'll say it again, if they...if anyone out there is teasing, and it gets too mean, excuse yourself, and come have a word with your man. I'll get them straight, and you know I will," he grunted with husky seriousness.

Lynne glowed inside. He was her protector. She could always run to him, like she did in the field, when she was stung, and confused, and in pain, and he would be there for her. How ever did she get so lucky?

"I...I...I got a lot today in this marriage. I think I might have gotten the better bargain. I got a sexy lover, a friend, and a teddy bear. And in such a sexy package. I know it's silly to be embarrassed but I-"

"It's not silly. Getting stung, that shit hurts," said Leif, as Janelle and his mom returned to the room with ice-cubes and bandages.

"Hell yes it does hurt. I got stung earlier in the summer but it wasn't my wedding reception," said Linda.

"You got stung too Linda? Garrett is not doing his job spraying away those wasp nests. He always used to send me to do it when I lived here. I'll get them for you when we get back from the honeymoon, they are always hanging around out there near the porch. Hate doing it to those little guys, but they get aggressive sometimes. They got me too out there occasionally if you don't spray those wasps down. I wish the little fellas wouldn't camp out on the porch, but they like that old wood. I didn't know they'd get my baby doll though," said Leif dotingly, stroking her neck gently away from her swollen sting.

"God forbid they get your little Lynne. You'll bomb everything in the yard, even though you hate killing anything in nature because one of them had the lack of presence of mind to sting your pretty little wife. Oh Leif, you did the right thing by marrying Lynne. You are heartsick for her. And she loves you too, as soon as she felt distressful, she ran right to you. That's...that's what it takes in a marriage. If it were the reverse, Lynne would have dropped everything and ran towards you too. You take care of each other. So it's nice to see. Lynne I heard you earlier. No one's laughing. You need to learn to trust us, not just Leif. Everyone around you today at the wedding is either a friend or family. We won't hurt you like you've been hurt growing up. I think they were concerned that you were okay. But Garrett made an announcement that his daughter is okay, just stung up by a wasp," said Linda.

Garrett had called Lynne his daughter before, but she was very touched. This whole wedding, the whole day had been about love and everyone sticking together, the small incident with the bee-sting showed that even more.

"Thanks Mom," said Lynne, smiling with gratitude.

"Yeah, thanks Mom for letting us know that Garret made an announcement. I'm sure Lynne feels a lot better now. You and Janelle, don't miss the party now. I better ice Lynney's neck down," said Leif, holding the ice cube up to Lynne's neck.

Janelle and his mother left the room.

The ice cube was cold, and Lynne shivered from shock.

She felt him harden a bit under her left thigh.

"It's cold baby," she added softly.

"God when you squirm like that, oh Lynne baby, I want you so bad sweetness, you have no idea, " he panted breathlessly.

Now that she was used to the cool against the skin, the feeling of it was so erotic.

Lynne stifled a moan, wanting him to drag the ice-cube other places over her body, like, maybe over her nipple. Lynne was sensitive to textures and temperatures and they'd never played extensively with these types of things as a couple before, they were just so busy exploring each other organically with their mouths and fingers.

"You can have me if you want it baby, I'll try not to pant to loud," groaned Lynne softly.

"Hmm...in the kitchen huh? In the kitchen with your husband, while the reception is going on outside the window, and anyone could come in here any minute. Mmm...you're such a cute little freak. Hmm...I thought you were your husband's cute little freak when you promised to give me something I could feel a few minutes ago, but I haven't seen anything yet! But I want to have you where you can moan, squeal, be as loud as you want...just to be surprised if...if I blow early, if you make those sexy little noises with that New Yawk accent," he grunted playfully.

"Leif, don't hold anything back, baby, if you feel ready to blow right away. You've been waiting too long, and you've been so good to me, you deserve to act like an animal and get a little bit selfish. I'll try to keep up with you baby! The ice...I wish you'd rub it everywhere to cool me off. I've needed cooling off badly since the rehearsal dinner," murmured Lynne dreamily.

Leif chuckled. He took the ice cube and slowly, sensually traced it around the contours of her mouth, careful not to smudge her lipstick, and then kissed her with his hot mouth, the contrast in temperatures causing Lynne to shiver with pleasure.

"Mmm," moaned Lynne.

After she moaned, his blue eyes lit up and he lightly traced the ice-cube around her collarbone, and then drew a line down the center of her chest with it, all the way down to her cleavage. He then licked a trail in his wake, then kissing and sucking over the path of the trail of water the melted ice-cube left on her butter pecan skin.

"Baby, please," panted Lynne cupping his head to her small and shapely breasts through her gown.

Leif chuckled.

"You're adorable and erotic. Husband will make sure there are plenty of ice-cubes for you to play with on our honeymoon baby girl, but this swelling on your neck is going down good, and I'm just gonna hold it right here on the back of your neck again, because if your neck is going to be swollen this weekend, it's gonna be with my hickies. I'm gonna be the only one bruising you with pleasurable kisses, not this damn wasp. I'm fucking mad as hell! Little fucker took away my right to give you your first big hickey. Can't believe I never kissed and nibbled at you hard enough to make one. I've been holding so much back baby," he murmured into her ear.

His breath was hot and she squirmed.

But when he started suckling and nibbling around her ear, she felt herself lubricating down her thighs, and felt her nipples turning into little pebbles.

"I can't wait for you not to hold it in no more Leify! I'm embarrassed anyway, can't we just leave for our honeymoon, right now," she whispered.

She was embarrassed at how she ran out after her wasp sting, but now, after the stunts with the ice cube, she wanted his teasing, loving, groping, biting, sucking, and finally his fucking. What he could do to her with that ice-cube alone sent her hormones racing and her pussy ached with need. It had been six days since she felt him stretching her out with that luscious meaty dick of his!

"Hmm, as badly as I'd like to do that baby, we really need to say goodbye to some folks first if we're gonna cut out. Mom and Dad, they at least want to say a few words to us first. And I know you want to hug Janelle and your girls in the wedding. Just...let me get your neck swelling down a little more. It's going down nice. I'm glad I put this cube on your tender skin as soon as I could. Nothing else gonna mark up my baby's neck but your husband," he added with a husky chuckle.

But he kept the cube steadfastly at her neck. And always providing his playful wisdom and guidance, her husband, he was her husband now.

"Sounds like I married a vampire," quipped Lynne.

Leif playfully bore his teeth as though they were fangs.

Lynne chuckled and chuckled before their lips just melted together, she sitting primly on his knee in her wedding gown while he dotingly iced her neck.

He tickled her so much. After the laughter she sighed with contentment on his lap.

Her tummy rumbled, and he felt it.

"You haven't eaten anything except a little bit of fruit since the rehearsal dinner. You're gonna get light headed, with all that wine, the bee sting and shit. Let's have a little bite, Janelle left us some plates, we'll eat a little, and then we'll go out there and wrap shit up, and I can steal you away from everyone, and we can christen our marriage, I can't wait," said Leif with a grin.

He produced two plates and a glass of wine, and they fed each other. The food was good, and Lynne was glad that she'd eaten with Leif, she hadn't realized how hungry she was. It was a nice little bonding experience like they were sharing a candlelight romantic dinner for two all by themselves in the kitchen, talking about how much fun they had during the day and wrapping up their experiences, while they watched part of their reception through the window, the line dancing had started up again, and everyone was laughing and having a great time drinking wine.

It was romantic.

"I love the way, no matter where we are, you can whisk me away and find the time to be romantic with me alone, and sweep me off my feet, don't ever change," murmured Lynne.

She went to the refrigerator, and found a chilling bottle of their reception wine.

She couldn't find glasses, so they poured them into some of Linda's flowered coffee mugs.

"Oh hell Lynne, we're already hiding our wine in a coffee cup. Damn, I thought we'd at least save that for when our kids were teenagers. Yeah baby, I promise, to keep sweeping you off your feet as long as you want to be swept. I look forward to still grabbing your hand to slow dance, even if we have to do it around our babies toys," said Leif.

"I look forward to still getting poked by you too, and running into the bedroom for a quickie before the kids destroy the house, when they get older," said Lynne.

"Ah hell, you don't have to worry about them ruining the house unless they take after me,' he said with a roughish chuckle while they toasted coffee mugs in the air, sipping their wine.

After they finished their wine, he iced her neck down a little more.

"Swelling's almost gone, let's get you bandaged up," said Leif.

He gently applied the bandage to the delicate nape of her neck.

Then he kissed her neck over the bandage.

"The sting shouldn't hurt anymore, because husband kissed it," he added playfully putting their empty wine mugs in the dishwasher.

"Yeah, but something else hurts now," murmured Lynne placing his hand in her cleavage.

Leif threw his head back and chuckled.

"Let's see to our guests and say goodbye, so I can take care of the other parts of you that hurt. But I'm just warning you, you might feel it a little hard in your pussy when I love you tonight. But it's gonna feel good baby girl, I promise you," he murmured opening the sliding glass door.

When they walked back onto the porch and down into the backyard for the reception, everyone clapped and cheered.

"She's alright. Mad that the wasp got the first bite out of her neck though, that was supposed to be me," said Leif loudly as everyone chuckled.

Lyle slowed the music down, asked Lynne what music she wanted to hear since she was back.

She chose a rock, reggae song by Sublime. It was just Leif's kind of song and they danced and bopped and did a little dub step together.

After a few more numbers, they had Lynne and Leif read a few of the quotes from the gift jars that they had at each table during the reception, and Lynne and Leif thanked their guests for the gifts of cash which were coloring the jars nicely with green, full of money for the happy couple!

Lynne was touched and teary eyed at the sweetness of her guests, both with the cash and the words of wisdom.
