We went back later that day to the attorney's office and he explained to us about the divorce decree again. "The problem is Tom died before the divorce was final. Of course with the pre-nuptial agreement, Sally was written out of his will but I suppose Roberta wasn't born yet and they never added an addendum to exclude her on the will. She is the next of kin according to law and of course Tom Sr. is fighting it. He will win in the end but it will cost him a lot and really hurt his reputation even more. I suggest you ask for a settlement and sign the form if he agrees, Sally," Ralph explained.

We wrote to Tom Sr. and explained the situation. He wrote back telling me that he knew I was the father of the baby and would fight it. What connections that man must have to find out information that fast. We just found out ourselves. He said he wasn't going to give the bastard child a half million dollars.

I wrote back to Mr Brown:

I wrote him telling him about his son breaking our last agreement by Tom Jr. running Sally off the road. I let him know that Sally didn't press charges since Tom was killed. Sally was considering legal action now, but would prefer for it all to just go away.

"Mr. Brown, I propose a compromise. Give Roberta a check for one hundred thousand dollars for everything you put her and her mother through. She almost died due to your son's actions. Sally will put the money in an account to help pay for Roberta's medical expenses and if any money's left it will start a college fund. Of course, if you choose we could go round and round through the court system as you are aware. Of course we will have to file charges against your deceased son in the hit and run. Here is the signed copy of your agreement with the addendum added for Roberta. If you agree to it, please sign it and send us a copy along with the check. Hopefully that will be the last we will hear from each other.

Bobby Jones

Three days later we received the check. My new little gal pal and I were sitting in our chairs fishing. I had my rod and reel and she had her bamboo pole. "I fishing with daddy," she said.

"Yes, sweetheart, you're fishing with daddy." I had tears in my eyes.

As we were fishing, Sally was waving the letter and check from Tom Brown Sr. Sally had the folding chair and sat down next to me.

"Bobby, we need to talk." I could tell she was really serious. "I know I hurt you. I can't take any of it back. God, I wish I could. I'll do anything for you, Bobby. Please give me another chance to prove I love you." She was crying now. "I love you, Bobbie loves you. What can I do? Just name it and I'll do it, please, Bobby."

I stared at her face with the tears streaming down. "I've been thinking a lot, Sally. The only thing you can do for me is marry me, Sal. Marry me and let's leave all this behind us."

She cried even harder as she hugged me. We looked over at little Bobbie and she said, "Daddy, I caught another fish, I caught another fish."

We looked over and she had a bigger fish this time. I took it off and put it in her pail. She turned it over and let the fish back into the pond. She smiled at me, "I think that was the daddy fish. He had to go home."

Epilog:

We got married and are living a great life. I now have my gal Sal, and my little fishing pal. We're building our own house on the other side of the pond. Mr. and Mrs. Perkins are happy for us. I guess being married to a farm boy isn't such a bad thing after all.

Millie and Billy are dating and are now engaged. They said they will get married as soon as he finishes college. Probably a year or two from now.

Mom and Dad are two very happy grandparents. Sally couldn't believe it when she saw the picture of me as a kid.

Hank is still driving truck but he loves it.

They never did find out who killed Tom Brown Jr. Sally never asked me about my trip with Hank and I never volunteered any information. Some things are best kept unknown.

Most stories end with a couple making love and the wife getting pregnant with another child. This one is a little different. We do continue making love but I asked Bobbie if she wanted a little brother or a puppy? She picked the puppy. We are now proud parents of a beautiful little girl and her cocker spaniel with big floppy ears. She picked it out herself at the animal shelter.

We are now one happy family. More kids? We'll see. We have a whole life ahead of us.

Why would Tom Sr not demand a paternity test for Sally's child before the shotgun wedding. It isn't 1950 anymore. AB- blood is the rarest at 0.6% (it is my blood type), and you can get the A allele from one parent and the B allele from another whether A and B parents, or A and AB or B and AB or two ABs, but then have to work out the rhesus factors. Surprisingly two rhesus positive parents can have a negative child provided one of the parents passes Rhesus D. It is not common but can happen. Back to the story. So she gets drunk and has a one night bang involving Tom Jr and presumably others and gets pregnant (or so she thought) and the MC won't talk with her, mortally wounded (before he knew about pregnancy). But he admitted later to his father that he had a one time dalliance with another woman while Salky was away at college before his walls came.tumbling down. Umm hypocritical much? Maybe part of it is she appeared to know more activities in bed, so he presumed that she had done it multiple times. He never stated that but might be thinking that. He wouldn't forgive her one time, but she never coukd communicate anything of substance to him except via Millie years later because quite frankly he was being an asshole. On a related note, if she got really drunk and had a one time (presumably group) sexual experience outside of Bobby while at college, how did ahe pick up.new things? Doesn't make a lot of.sense. Of course DNA beats put that hebis the father. I don't blame her because based on the timing, she really sounded it eas from her one time drunken tryst, for which she felt awful, though she couldn't reach Bobby about it all. Can see her marrying Tom Jr as she is now cut off from Bobby and afraid to raise a child alone. But again Tom Sr would have required a DNA test for confirmation. On a different note. A prenuptial cannot cover child custody. A postnuptial can but not a prenuptial, and only in some states and countries. Tom's blackmail threat was killing Roberta. Since he genuinely thought she was his kid, that is one sick asshole that needed to be put down. Don't see if he followed through on tat how he woukd ever get sway with it. It would be a slam.dunk for the police to find his car and see the damage and match the paint flakes to her car. He would automatically be a prime suspect for the hit and run. And why was Roberta not in a car seat? Huh? When the seat belts are described cutting into her that makes zero sense unless she was NOT in a car seat. Odd. And why was the mayor's wife banging Tom Sr if only once. If.before her.msrriage to the mayor that is weak sauce blackmail. Of after, what the heck is she thinking. From Tom Sr's reaction sounded consensual. Tom Sr was an asshole lawyer but he was shocked by what his son did to thr mayor's wife. Suspect he kept knows or strongly suspects who shot his son. Related to the mayor? Or a new failed conquest? I can see them being in the clear. He didn't want the hit and run to come.back and haunt the firm and family name or affect his political career. He probably still thought he coukd win the election. Roberta was very cute. Glad it all worked out. The MC's hypocrisy was nauseating on page 1 as we learned later in the story, but he got his head out of his ass. Seems Dubois he would.msrry Sally, if Roberta wad not his kid. Dunno.

I still can't get over the fact that Sally supposedly knew Bobbie since childhood and yet couldn't imagine that he was the father of her daughter. And that the high priced rich lawyer never had his idiot son do a paternity test, in this day and age. Second time reading and it is still a silly read.

A good story. A less formulaic than the usual fare one finds on Literotica.com, but still enjoyable. One thing, though, I do not see Tom Sr. letting this go. I can see him bidding his time and striking both families in revenge. He is a loose end that should not have been left dangling.
