When she relaxed I rolled off, and we lay on our backs side by side, exhausted and staring at the ceiling, gasping like two fish on land. As our breathing evened out, I turned to look at her. I wanted to tell her how incredible that was. I opened my mouth to say so, but her finger found my mouth faster. She held a finger to my mouth in the sign of "shh". Since then, we have had several more "occasions", but no word is ever spoken, as if words would defile the experience and destroy the magic. And we never said a word about that Saturday morning, not even to this day.
