I roll over to my side and she slides her leg over mine and wraps her arm around my chest, her head tucked under my chin.
"I feel so safe with you. I've never felt that way before... in the bedroom. I've always had to keep my guard up." She kisses my chest and sighs. "I just needed to realize that I'm safe."
I struggle with my emotions. I feel so happy that she is comfortable with me, but so angry that it had to take this much time because of what she's been through. "Promise me that you'll always be honest with me. Let me know if you feel uncomfortable."
She lifts her face to mine; her hair tickles my cheek, kisses me fervently and whispers. "I promise."
