Nika closed her eyes and kissed Lance back, smiling. She melted into him, her entire being exhausted but satisfied. He felt similarly. Lance was quite exhausted himself, and the two of them staggered into her house tripping over passed out friends and misplaced furniture before arriving in her bedroom. They collapsed on her queen-sized bed, spooning.
As Nika lay there, Lance beside her, their bodies pressed close, his arm around her comfortingly, she silently laughed that her friend Delaney had finally hooked her up with a guy.
