When I finished my dream, Barb was crying. "Oh my God, You are exactly right. I don't know how you dreamt that but that was my exact thought after Darla told me about it. My first thought was 'What about Brian?' You are the love of my life. I don't ever want to go anywhere unless you are there with me. You see, we have this fantastic marriage that everyone else wants but aren't willing to do what it takes to stay together. We have happiness, trust, respect for each other and most of all love. Brian, with God as my witness, I will always love you and never cheat on you. Now let's get these pants off and lets find out what position works best with this cast."

Life is good. I do prefer 'Happy endings.'

Option 3 only because it was highly creative. Option 1 was just lame and unrealistic. Option 2 led to divorce because the premeditated nature just killed it, not to mention the length and nature of the sex acts. But Option 2 fell flat as there was really no communication. No emotional arguments or entreaties. Dialog was clipped and forced. Option 3 had one minor hitch that made it seem like something was out of whack. When talking to Darla, she described the acts they did that night and how they both "loved it". That was not in the phone call. Barbara wasn't just feeling guilt, but she also alluded to how the other men were not one tenth the lover that Brian is. Also author hinted at them possibly reconciling. Hard to imagine with that phone call unearthing a bad betrayal. In real life, two men, all night, premeditated and morning after pills purchased before = divorce. Also felt Barbara's dialog wasn't worth crap outside the phone call or the third ending after he woke up from the coma. Liked thr near miss aspect of the third. She woukd have fallen. She knows she would. And heard what Darla and Marla did. So now she knows to be wary. Darla is a bad influence. Someone really needs to tell Dan, so they can decide. Or it will just end up in divorce later on for them as with Option 1. Can understand that Darla wants revenge but dragging her sister into it is just evil. At least with Option 3 it was Marla who is a divorcee. I assume the story was really written for Option 3. Make it look like.no way back, then the coma and the near miss wherein his accident saved their marriage. As an aside, six months to heal a broken leg? Would have to be so compound fractured, doctors would have put screw and pins all over the place. Bones heal relatively fast. 4 stars.

I still prefer ending #3. One thing, if you are looking for an incriminating bit of evidence, it's "I saw the credit card. I know you bought the morning after pill ahead of time." There's not much coming back from that.

For this type of story I prefer drama, conflict, consequences and justice. reconciliation is only good after counselling, remorse, accepting blame, etc.

My vote goes to 3, a bit like the shower sequence in Dallas.
