One cannot deny the heart's desire,
Cannot crave without satisfaction;
Reflection sets the soul on fire
The flesh demanding interaction.

Passionate images dominate dreams
Thoughts ignite intimate flames;
Lust commands voiceless screams
Breathless whispers summon no names.

Fantasies abate yet passion lingers
Delicious concepts Invade the mind;
Inflamed communication by wanton fingers,
Impassioned bodies now entwined.

Awakening reveals the slumber's yearning
An illusion which the soul must endure;
The mists clear but the fire is yet burning
From the midnight rapture's allure.

Very nice...

A good take on sweet dreams. I liked the poem, but (and this is just my opinion) it felt a little mechanical to me. Overall, a nice first poem.
