Click hereI met an old man while walking in the sun one day,
And he was smiling like a "Cheshire cat" with good news!
He seemed so satisfied I asked him "Where do you stay?"
He grinned and told me he lived at the "Nursing Home Pews."
As we talked I had to say, "You seem to be happy."
He grinned back at me and said "I live a real good life!
I never got around to being a "Pappy,"
And it's been a really long time, since I've had a wife!"
"If you can act feeble-minded, you can have fun,
When a sweet young nurse gets too close, you can squeeze her bun!
You might even make her jump, but she'll give you a smile,
And all you have to do is act simple, with some guile!
We talked a little longer then, we both had to part,
I thanked him for his company, and went on my way.
My mind thought that when I get as old as this old fart,
I hope I'll have his "Sense and Will," so I too can play!!
