The memories are alive.

Inside each and all, infrared rays.
The light from the day and the blast of the sun
Right before the sweet hour hath died away.

But the memories are,

Just as time cannot pull certain thoughts aside
And stronger notions survive...
And I want something more than a peek inside.

If the memories will,

Let them give me the dreams that I long,
When I wake up shivering violently
With a smile so greedy and heated and wrong...

And the memories grow,

Just one heated moment can last in my head,
When I'm thinking of all the time that we lost...
It's only a reason to want it again.

The memories scream,

I can hear them with every quickening beat
Of my very own heart while I'm thinking of roses-
And darkness of night where there is only heat.
