always i'll remember how you looked at me that winter
you'd sit on the bed
nose in a book while i undressed in the corner
socks last - it was a cold winter
and i'd catch you watching
me sliding off my underwear and then standing there
in only my pink socks
that slow grin stealing across your face
even wider when i turned away blushing
to dress
