it was only after that one time i knew you liked my socks
i mean really liked them
i swore to you in your bedroom i couldn't stand it
always barefoot in bed
you only smiled

that night i pulled off my white panties and reached for my socks, the white ones with monkeys on them
but you said
"leave them on"
as you took me gently, but with purpose all i could think was
he really likes my socks
