Timing takes time, and I seem to have lost my watch.
Could I borrow yours? Just for a second?
It’s just so shiny and bright, and you’ve had it long enough.
My turn now, to wind it up, and watch the precision in action.
My turn to feel the synchronization.
My turn to have the plan, and a place to be when the sun goes down
The way those hands move is captivating
And I’m afraid I’m not giving it back.
