To say “savor” in one syllable:
May I suggest “sand” or “sex”
Or is it possible to select “sea”
Beside which you soundly slept

Slobber slid down
A sidewinding chin
Sidling towards seductive bliss
Savor Save her Savor

Salt is in my sex
Sadly you cannot extract
Even a cell of my distress
Seaweed to strip me
Seaweed to sell me
Starfish spangles
Whispering regrets

Save me for Sunday
Distill me to a scent
So you can smell me
And Savor all my sins

Let's say it again
For the stragglers and saints
For the soon to be insane

Assembled friends ,salt yourselves
Into the moon-slung
Simpering tides of regrets
And drunkenness

Bacchus is sated
By your savor, salt, seaweed limbs
Bacchus smiles satirically
At this sorry slut
Stinking of overcomsumption
And stewing in his piss

Didn't you sense something amiss
Upon the slumbering sand?
Did not you see something
Steeping in the sundering sea?

This is an extraordinarily well-written piece. Much of your work is impressive, but this one truly stands out. You've got serious talent, and Lit is lucky to have you.
