There is something in the air that lets me know,
that its time for me to let her go.
But will I ever forget this girl?
She who set my mind in a whirl?
I helped her out through a difficult phase,
now I will miss seeing her pretty face.
But move on she must that much I know,
so its time for me to let her go
There will be tears in my eyes when I think of her,
also a feeling that I could never quite infer.
I held her hand when she needed it most,
now I will just move around like a pale ghost.
But the feeling is there and this I know,
that its time for me to let her go.
In my arms she spent many a sleepless night,
I cuddled her close and held her tight.
Now I wonder if she will remember those days,
when I waited for her and took her to the plays
But leave she must that much I know,
because I see it in her ways and I have to let go...............
