"tatooed ni blue
scratching the symbols"
Did you really do that? Make the word play of "nickle blue" by purposefully reversing "in", I mean. If so, congratulations. What other chemical symbols can be incorporated into a poem? - AgH! (silver hydride perhaps?) >?(((><
Nickle when in compounds such as nickle chloride, are a vibrant lime green.... for blue, I would suggest Cobalt compounds which also makes a beautiful magenta compound as well.....or copper sulfate, that is a nice crystal
next: flame tests. Want scarlet? Try lithium.....strontium
where was I, oh, LOST in this poem. I feel like I have been there.... and will stay there for a while... well done Linbido. Fish man, don't mention chemistry, it is so distracting!
Anna<---recovering scientist whose students wrote diamonte poems on the element of their choice...and nicely at that
That's what I get for reading poems so early in the morning that I haven't had a caffeine fix yet. :(
I guess I was confusing bluing and nickel plating which are two common but totally different finishes on firearms.
Sorry I was giving you too much credit for creativity. :(
Blast that little swirly-whirley, but she is correct.
>?(((><
Yes, it's just a typo. But thanks for the chemistry lession. :D
