The story is uncomplicated, a tale of incest and taboo that features revenge as its highlight. I find such activities boring and certainly not erotic. There's little else in the story that would lead one to recommend it to others. I thank you for your effort.

e. Marriage is a legal and for some a moral contract. It can not be altered without the prior consent of both partners. When one cheats in a marriage, the contract is broken and the marriage is ended. Divorce is the legal aspect of ending the broken contract. When on spouse goes out and cheats, without the prior consent of the other spouse, the marriage is ended at that point. Another valid point was made in the story, I can forgive you for betraying me and cheating on our marriage if you are repentent, but that doesnt mean reconciliation or a continuation of the marriage. Finally the cheating wife in the story gave her point of view, if no one is hurt whats the problem. Well in this case many weekends traveling to be with her lovers detracted from her marriage and from time with her spouse. Her belittling of her spouse to her sister and brother in law speaks very loudly of no love, respect, or even consideration of her husband. She gave him good sex as payment for her going off for times with her kinky lovers, not as loving or affection for her husband. For those that call for reconciliation or reconciliation at any cost, you might be able to reestablish a loving trusting relationship if the spouse did a one time thing, there were extinuating circumstances, and the spouse is truly repentent. But when the spouse cares so little for you to carry on an affair, with or without sex, have bareback sex putting you medically at risk, and doesnt seem to care who they betray you with or where, there is never any possibility of reconciliaiton unless you are emotionally brain dead. The old addage we stayed together for the children, is also a dead fish stinking up the house. In most cases, the children would be better off with the parents divorced. And in this case where you have a lying, betraying wife with no real morals, ethics, or character, wouldnt she make a great role model for children? RB

The author warned in his advisory note that there is no affection in this story and he is certainly right. It is told in a cut and dried manner with little regard for any emotional content. Still, the story is effective in its revelation of the wife's betrayal and the subsequent revenge.

Author - your viewpoint on cucking a loyal man and husband was like a slice of life. It mirrored what can happen when one spouse is selfishly taking advantage of another.<P>

So when it is told with directness and a measure of venom it feels remarkably close to real life - and also less violent than some we read about in the newspaper.<P>

Author - you and your marital consequence are appreciated for the balance it offers to offset some of the degrading absurdities posted here about male self humiliation. The emotion of justice should be felt more often here as it is in real life.<P>

These days, with all the security involving commercial aviation, one must show an official, picture ID to board an airplane. Our Mr. Vanilla (Pete Peterson) would obviously have left a paper trail and would be a suspect during the police investigation into the sodomy assault on Matt and Megan. He even whispered into Matt's ear before leaving; maybe Matt would recognize Pete's voice. Pete would be hard put to provide an alibi, since we know of no friends or other means by which he might do this. Since he is divorcing Allison and blackmailing her to boot, I would think Allison would also push for a police investigation to charge Pete with assault & battery, illegal restraint, sexual battery, and other charges. Never mind that I empathize with Pete and his anger, I just think a story should be more consistent -- this type of vengeance would be difficult to pull off.

Better than average planning with the typical all knowning man with video cameras, but your raw style was like other writers on here who post no more.

This is a true to life example of what can happen when one partner in a marriage cheats and viciously belittles the innocent spouse. I do think, however, that our hero while totally justified in his actions, clumsily left enough clues and a trail back that would have resulted in incarceration for a lengthy period of time. Marginally entertaining, but could have been better. There should have been much more confrontaion and dialog between the husband and wife after she found out he knew. The reader really needed to know more about this couple (more character development) and their relationship in order to care what happened to them. The subplot about the church and the other guy who's wife was cheating could have been eliminated. If you were going to include that, and it was supposed to break up the congregation, then it would have made more sense if the minister himself had been the one she was screwing. So what if the minister knew they had been "sinning"; ministers are supposed to keep such matters confidential. It was interesting how this guy was supposed to be such a holy roller and yet he had no problem with arranging to have someone physically assault (and perhaps kill) his sister-in-law and her husband. And I've never heard of a telephone service that would automatically record outgoing calls and save copies to voicemail.
