A good story doesn't always have to culminate in sex in order for it to be good. The elements of a good story, really, are that the main characters are introduced as-is to the audience, the characters have an adventure and, ultimately, the characters experience growth/change as a result of their adventure. I'm really, really liking how this develops. It's realistic, intelligent and thoughtful. I'm looking forward to seeing where the rest of the plot goes. This story IS being posted on an erotic fiction website, so I'm guessing that sex will eventually be a part of the plot... but holding back from just throwing us directly into the hot-and-steamy is actually not a bad thing sometimes. In this particular case, it's working out quite well. Bravo!
