I'm aware, I'm not a native speaker and no editing can be perfect. Things like "lay" vs. "lie" may slip, but as long as the story remains readable and understandable, there isn't much damage done.

The story is depressing, sad and - agreed - not erotic... But don't you dare to dictate others what they have to consider romantic. I do think, some of them share my point of view that romance don't require necessarily a happy end.
