Becoming_Peleover 3 years agoI like the floorplan. It helps give visualization to the story. I'd love to see a map of the grounds, and eventually, the Annex. Even a map of the village might be nice, too, though it seems that the action takes place in the compound for the most part until the new scenes which will take place in the center. I suspect from the hints you are giving that the center will be more important as a setting in the future, so after that time, a map of it might also be helpful. I think that one of the reasons there doesn't seem to be as much interest in the map is the placement in the list. I overlooked it as your poetry until I caught a reference in either an intro or a postscript on one of the stories. Then I looked closer and found it. Keep up the good work. This is a great story and I'm anxiously awaiting the next chapter, as well as any future chapters. I love rereading what you have so far because every time I do, I get some new insight into different characters, especially, of course, Mariah and Michael, but some of the secondary characters like Ezra and Sarah are also proving very interesting. :) It may be Michael and Mariah's story, but the secondary characters are well written and important, too.

There hasn't been much interest in the map of the house, so I don't think there will be much demand for a map of the grounds. I will need to rough out one for my own reference as I continue to add places. My rough map will surely not be presentable, though!

Post apocalyptic dystopia with hot reluctance, vegetable gardening and strong women! Its all my favourite things in one place!

The areas that are more frequently used in the story were very concrete in my mind, but the less-used portions were more vulnerable to continuity errors if I didn't sketch it out.
