The applicant standing next to Vicky was an amateur ballet dancer called Penelope Loung. Penelope admitted that classical ballet was the only type of dancing she knew how to do. She didn't have any experience with modern dance.
By the time Vicky and Penelope stepped away from the microphone, they figured they weren't going to get any further in the audition. However, that was not to be the case. Unfortunately for the Dance Department, the summer's audition group was not wonderful. There were only five applicants and the other three candidates were not in physical form to meet the needs of the Department.
