An image from the climax of my story, A Girl and Her Bot. Michaela is about to test out Thomas's accessory, the Kraken, and is very happy to do so.

I wanted to redraw this scene, as it was one of my oldest artworks here, and I feel I've improved greatly in the meantime.

Michaela about to happily test out Thomas's accessory, the Kraken.

Outline Version

I also did a version of it with outlines only, for an ebook cover.

Looking forward to the time you try shading too. It's going to be amazing...

Thanks for sharing

I like it! If I were to change it, I'd draw the mouth a little more narrowly - just a bit wider than the nose - for proportion. I'd also put her right hand into the frame (wonderfully expressive things, hands, and you drew the left one well!) and maybe have it interacting with or just hanging loosely in front of the... appendages.

I love it! Love the story too, but this is a great addition. I wish I could draw like this. I'd love to be able to add to my own stories in this way. You're very talented.....thank you for sharing with us!
