The protagonist of my series of Shadowrun stories, Impulse Dawson. Once a soldier of fortune working for Knight Errant, she fought against the occupation of San Francisco perpetrated by the rogue imperial Japanese marines known as The Protectorate from 2061 to 2068. Afterwards she became an investigative consultant for Lone Star, helping to solve crimes in the Bay Area. Her story begins in my story Impulse Control.
