The warm weather the smell of flowers and earth... the shape of the tool...
That set of garden tools is (was) a real thing, right down to the clit bumper... errr finger "guard"? At the time, I was working on packaging for another brand of garden tools and during my research found these, and was inspired! Drawn from imagination with pencil (and tool reference). a bit of color added in photoshop.
