Without spoiling the story, it is a story about a queen who falls victim to her king’s childish fantasies stemming from reading one too many stories of questionable merit. Needless to say he spends vast amounts of gold and expends unimaginable resources in order to achieve his dream of one day possessing an heir of incredible might and potential, but is it truly going to end the way he wants it to?
This is a portion of a picture I am personally drawing and is intended for a story that I am writing as well. This is a sketch portrait of Queen Astana before adjustments and then an ink line layer is put down. Flat colors are placed before shading and rendering and final polishing to make the illustration more visually appealing.
