The walk back to the car was about as uncomfortable as it could possibly be for Ruthie. There was no doubt that Vicky was dead serious about flirting with Chairman Larson, nor was there any doubt he was totally happy with what the student was doing.
Ruthie had decided to walk back to the car bottomless, which was nothing new for her. She had put on an old shirt to avoid sunburn on her shoulders, but had not bothered to put her shorts back on.
