This hairstyle is honestly referred to as a "pixie punk" style, that is a short and wide spiked strip of hair across the top of the head. Anna helped cut it, and the result is the look that she gives Sam almost every time their lock eyes like here!

I uploaded both the story and the art on the same day, and the art is published but the story hasn't even been processed yet :| Once it's published (hopefully sometime this century?), this picture will make a lot more sense!
