Click hereShe walks their dog every morning
Giving her time to think
To dream
To wonder the what if’s
She sees the flowers in their gardens
Sweet smelling
The colours beyond description
She doesn’t know their names or where they came from
She smiles at their gardens
She reaches in and looks around
Making sure nobody sees
She tugs and twists
Picking just the ones she thinks will brighten up her day
Not a bunch
Just a flower every day
Sometimes they are purple
Sometimes they are white
Spring times finds the wattles
All yellow and bright such a lovely sight
They don’t last long when taken from their host
In a vase full of water a day maybe two
But she walks their dog every morning and brings her a flower every day.
