Our time together has always been a delight,
the warmth of your dear smile,
as we shared coffee and southern whispers
across the lonely miles.
Paths crossed, pleasant thoughts exchanged,
kindness given to others;
you were always generous with your praise,
that’s woven in your utters.
We embraced again as we said, ‘til later,
fingers linger, then apart.
After you left, I looked into my hands
and found your beautiful heart.
