Some people get an effect
Using them like paint
Moving a paintbrush slowly
Others use a scalpel with precision.

I am emptying the coinstar machine
I have a linen sack of quarters and euros
And I swing it over my shoulder
The reader is just a nail to be hammered

And yet the big, sweeping movements
Means the impact will be like a pillow
If I’m lucky

Maybe I just need lead ball bearings instead
