Throughout the day, throughout the night
In the darkness and in the light--
While awake or lying in bed
Joyce hears a voice within her head.
Throughout the night, throughout the day
The voice Joyce hears won't go away.
Throughout the night, throughout the day
The voice Joyce hears is here to stay.
The words are nothing to rejoice
Of the voice in the head of Joyce.
It warns Joyce of darkness to come—
A world of suffering and bedlam,
With wails of anguish and bloodshed.
The voice speaks loudly in her head.

Almost surrealistic in a way, to me. Really well written.
