Touch of my breath
the side of her face
neither of us entered
an impromptu race,
To see who could reach
the finish line first
but because we share
the same thirst,

For cold water on
a hot summer day
a glass of wine
a chance to play,
Romeo / Juliet
Bonnie and Clyde
hot wiring
our next ride,

Wearing clothes
with grace and style
or naked with
just a smile,
Reading lines from
a script writer
the director shouting
“hold her tighter…”,

My hot breath on
your warm neck
cameras rolling on
this cosmic speck,
A spinning rock in the
corner of nowhere
I brush aside your
tangle of hair,

Pull it back and
nibble your ear
the director is thinking
“oh my, oh dear”,
We finish the scene
but later that night
act out a scene no writer
could write ….
