Airport in Montana
AvGas perfume
heading to Alaska
hope to be there soon,
Depending on the weather
depending on the time
depending on the outcome
of this foolish rhyme,

In an old tail dragger
built just after the war
a map and a compass
and little more,
A tiny bit of camping gear
a jug of liquid luck
in case I have trouble
in case I get stuck,

Push the throttle forward
pull the stick back
thinking of a woman
at home in the sack,
Airplanes and ladies
seems always the same
each one I know
has a special name,

I run my hand across her
the airframe and her skin
the droning of her engine
her outs and her in,
Looking out the window
examining the view
thinking all the reasons
I’m in love with you,

I really love this. Quite intoxicating.
