All I know is her

I finally found the one,
she claims she doesn't know,
I thought i had it done,
but she got up to go.

I tried to stop her quick,
to keep the pain away,
but it hit me in the niche,
without any kind of cache.

Some people got it,
and some people don't,
I really thought i had it,
but all i got is dope.

Finding isn't everything,
thats what im always told,
but these people have it,
they already found the gold.

I don't know what to do,
I cannot find my way,
thinking doesn't do shit,
especially since last may.

Finally someone listened,
they heard my cries and pleas,
I found a kind word,
and all they saw was me.

Finding someone true,
Is hard as perverbial hell,
Bringing my heart through,
Is even harder to tell.

The heart feels,
It doesn't say much,
but when it knows something,
It isn't on a hunch.

Looking through the looking glass,
you see things from far away,
But when you're this close to the trees,
You see everything your way.

Being the person that you are,
Is all that you can hope for,
To expect more from others,
you won't find in any store.

Some people got it,
and some people don't.
And for some inexplicable reason,
I don't.
