In quiet reflection
stars fill my gaze
feeling small & insignificant
in their presence

diluting your phrases;
my mind tearing away
considered implications

leaving words
whispered in the dark
drawing intimacy
from the silence
of the night.

Quiet reflection...

of how insignificant we are in the whole scope of things..

Exquisite

A poem no doubt written with the poet in a state of gentle repose. Loved the gentleness of rendering.

~~

Nice little piece of whispered intimacy; close and all alone in your universe.

Semi-colon and a period?

Don't know... don't know: are they needed? Still, I paused to comment/post!

(I think you should dump'em).
