Either they don't like him, or they just pay him no mind.
He ran with the masses as far as he could until he fell behind.
He has vials full of formulas that he's tried to no avail.
He has nothing but mixed memories on which to dwell.
Meanwhile, the masses run as the World revolves.
He cries out silently as his hope dissolves.
A million times he's been grazed,
But through it all he appears unfazed.
He hides the scars beneath iron will
Because if they show they'll move in for the kill.
