they are the new athletes
the ones who know more than all the ones before
but they have not learned that it's age
that is
the great equalizer

oh to be an old man
to be worrying about your colon
while sitting on the crapper
wondering what happened to jolly old saint nick
it will likely happen to us all

they are in the huddle
working on a play that will fake us out
the huddle is broken
they are at the line
he rolls back
he fakes once
he fakes twice
the ball is thrown
we are the receivers

its the new athletes
and the play they are really playing is
athletes spells lets hate
