The weather changes
the seasons grow colder
as days grow grayer
and clouds fill the sky.

Storms gather and fall
the rain grows more intense
they pour and pour on us
gathering momentum.

The trees grow and turn color
from crimson to rose then
to cherry and even apple red...
it's so amazing to watch.

The nights grow colder
the winter freeze is coming
the chill grows so intense
it pierces the skin.

As winds grow stronger
the leaves blow all around
papers tumble and the blustery
days fall even more.

Summer seems so far away
and a cold depression sets in
as we batten down the hatches
and prepare for The Fall.
