Difficult our spirt
Tainted real life is
Smell the aroma of what’s real
Power never wins
Walk what safe may be
Never open arms
Lurk against the rage of low
Calm before what’s born

thank you!

I want to understand where you were at emotionally and mentally when you wrote this, to frame it better for me and to lend insight into who you are. Hmmm, maybe thats not really the point of poetry though, eh? I like it a lot and re-read it many times. I love the brevity, as it really forces the reader to take their time and digest each word. I love the emotions it evokes, which probably is the real point of poetry. Most of all, I'd like to think it comes from your soul and as such, I want to know so much more about it! Great stuff, and thank you for sharing it!
