Beauty,
to touch you burns like fire.
I am the phoenix
who wants to climb onto your body,
and drink your scalding water.

Moonlight,
a mute witness of what you do to my skin.
The smell of unfulfilled ashes
commands what my hands can or can not touch.

Bedsheets,
the walls that forbade me to see you,
who makes me want to burst into flames.
When I have you,
this phoenix will never fly again.
