He sat down and wrote a blood letter
That made it clear he's not much better.
(His girlfriend wore beauty on her skin.
Underneath she was ugly as sin.)
"When I think of all the lies I've told
"Recently and in the days of old;
"When I think of all the wrongs I've done,
"And all of this in the name of fun;
"I realize that I'm not much better.
"I realize that I'm a blood-letter."
