Blue light will have to do
It’s harsh and cold tones transmit
Your soft and warm glow
Through my eyes and into my soul

And blue light has to do
It pierces and penetrates me
As you dig and grip from afar
But no marks on my skin for me to trace

This blue light can only do
Intensified by the lag and waiting
Where you have me on edge day after day
Minute after minute
With no release

Will this blue light consume me
Clouding my dreams where I drift
Towards the aura of you
Pumping my blood harder and harder

And so this blue light teases me
Exaggerates every feeling of remoteness
I carry you everywhere and nowhere
Inside, outside and in between

The blue light will outlast me
As it can reach farther than I ever could
You have me in the palm of your hand
How I wish I had the rest of you too
