His dream was broken
when she tore his heart in half...
she made fun of him
then he cried himself to sleep.
Though he was older
didn't mean he had no heart...
she was half his age
but acted like a child.

She had a forked tongue
and she promised to use it...
she put him so down
had so much upon his mind.
Unconditional love
he had inside for her...
her love was poison
she was slowly killing him.

He felt her pain and
he had sympathy inside...
he felt so useless
and she made him feel that way.
With their hearts in sync
she made him ache deep within...
every word spoken
just made him feel torn in two.

His dreams were shattered
and all of hers were as well...
she expected too much
from the man inside him.
Though they fell apart
she blamed him for all of it...
he was merely a pawn
in her evil wicked game.
