The day has dawned but
the sun is barely there.
Peeks through the horizon,
just behind the mountains.

The Rockies before my eyes
make me feel deep inside.
I feel an emptiness within
in this cold cold room.

In my waking hours here
i think funny and sad things.
Watch TV and hope one day
to get out of this rut.

I watch movies, game shows,
cooking shows and more.
I've so many things I love
except the love of a woman.

All alone, full of emptiness,
I've a bad back and so much pain.
I eat, sleep, go to appointments,
my only company is my kitten.

My kitten BeBe Bleu and I
share a bed, kisses and hugs.
But she doesn't take the place
of the love of a woman.

I long to feel the touch of a lady,
sweet kisses and romance.
Maybe one day she'll come my way
then I'll get out of this rut.
