From day one I am nothing but a curse.
Old and empty like a stolen purse.

Why am I here on this worthless rock?
My life ticking like a grandfather clock.

To and fro I walk the same path.
I'm a failure even in art and math.

No women want me, no women love me.
Am I as dangerous as a honey bee?

Why are other men having fun?
While I sit here staring at the sun.

I can't believe there's no one out there.
There's nobody around to even care.

One minute I'm nice, the next they're not.
I'm picked on like gooey and dried snot.

I'm nearly fifty and still I'm all alone.
Why won't women call me on the phone?

Why won't they give me one fair chance?
I'm ready and willing to go to a dance.

I can't take these rejections any longer.
I don't have the strength to grow any stronger.

I stand here filled with dry tears.
A life worthless for so many years.
