She wants me to treat her like a queen,
But--hell--I ain't no money machine.
So, she'll have to find another guy
Who will build her castle in the sky
And treat her royally to no end.

She did me wrong. She played with my head.
A studded crown's the key to her bed.
I can't believe I was so stupid.
In my haze I thought I felt Cupid
Shoot a love arrow into my heart
And what I saw was a work of art.
Things are better since I said "Goodbye."
She'll just have to find another guy.
