Bound by chains of doubt and fear,
I wander through the shadows drear,
Each link a weight upon my soul,
In silent anguish, I lose control.
These chains, invisible yet strong,
Hold me captive, where I don't belong,
They whisper lies within my mind,
A prisoner of thoughts unkind.
They wrap around my hopes and dreams,
Restraining me with stifling seams,
In every step, they tug and pull,
A relentless grip, relentless and full.
But deep within, a fire burns,
A yearning soul that fiercely yearns,
To break free from this binding hold,
To find myself, brave and bold.
With every breath, I fight to rise,
To sever chains and claim the skies,
For I am more than what they claim,
Untamed spirit, unbound flame.
Though shackled now, I won't remain,
I'll break these chains and break the pain,
And in the breaking, I'll be free,
To live the life meant just for me.
