You are right, I admit,
About so much:
About women and men,
Love and sex,
True and false.
You are right about
The name of the guy who was in that thing,
And the pitiful state of
Our boys’ pass rush
And the reasons for all the frustrating wrongs.
You are right about abortion—especially that—
And God.

Now hush.

Outside my window
In the dewy garden
In the smiling moonlight
Bare-skinned selkies play.
I will shed my raiment
As they shed their seal-skins
Dancing naked together
Our hearts will fill with song
And our bodies with pleasures
Base and noble
While you stay here
Being right.
