January's whisper silenced again
Lost amidst the cumbersome fog
Breath painting the cold winter air
Shadows slithering over fields of white
Inaudible pleas left forever unheard
No stars no sky only condemnation
Houses adorned to honor a forgotten God
Known only in word forgotten practice
Darkness's consumption until morning come
Flesh seared by it's encompassing cold
A childs joy now brought to sorrow
Winter has come Winter has done
