I love to dress up like a girl,
In heels and skirts, my heart unfurls,
I feel alive, I feel so free,
My true self, for all to see.
I love the way the fabric flows,
As I walk down the street, my confidence grows,
People stare, but I don't care,
I'm happy just being me, out there.
It's not about being a woman, you see,
It's about feeling comfortable in my own skin, and being free,
I love the way the clothes fit,
And how they make me feel, bit by bit.
I know some people don't understand,
They judge and criticize, they reprimand,
But I don't let them get me down,
I'm proud of who I am, I won't back down.
So let me wear my dresses and heels,
Let me express myself, let me feel,
It's not about conforming to society's rules,
It's about embracing myself, and breaking those old-school norms and tools.
I'll strut down the streets with pride,
In my dresses and heels, side by side,
I may not fit into your box,
But that's okay, I'll continue to rock.
